Our grand opening celebration will be held on Tuesday, September 19 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the school site. We will have a ribbon cutting, activities for the children and the opportunity to tour the school and see what the power of intention can do. Please join us for this news making event.

School opened on Wednesday, August 30th with 38 students in attendance. The first day was incredibly smooth. The only mishap was Bill and Leah getting stuck in the muddy driveway- sorry about that! We will be putting the finishing touches on the driveway this week, so we shouldn't have any more parents who want to leave but can't...

We are thrilled to announce that in the week before school started we had a surge in enrollment. We have approximately two spaces left in each class. We will accept new students until these spaces are filled. Many parents ask about enrollment for next year. Rest assured there is no waiting list- we will open enrollment to new families in February 2007 for the 2007-2008 school year.

Our building arrived August 3rd and we opened on August 30th. The list of people to thank for helping us through the incredibly hard month of August is long, but I would like to mention a few of the most helpful here. First of all my husband, my father-in-law, my mother and Skip went way beyond the call of duty volunteering their time. Second our employees and their children who spent a lot of time at my house and didn't say anything about how dirty it was. Finally our parents who came and painted the inside of the school in one day. We couldn't have done it without you.

This will serve as our requirement to inform parents that there is no asbestos present in our building located at 38 Stoney Knob Road, Weaverville. The asbestos management plan is maintained in the school office and copies are available upon request.
